TempoLift

Privacy policy

Short version: TempoLift does not collect any data about you. Everything you log stays on your phone.

Who we are

TempoLift is an iPhone app published by an independent developer under the name NordTempo. If you have any question about this policy, email [email protected].

What the app stores

The workouts, sets, goals, body weight and settings you enter are saved in a database on your phone. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. There is no account and no sign-in.

What we collect

Nothing. TempoLift has:

Strava (optional)

Where available, you can connect your Strava account so your runs show up in TempoLift. This only happens if you choose to connect.

Strava's handling of your data is covered by Strava's privacy policy.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the rest timer schedules them on your phone so they can reach you when it's locked. They are created by the app on your device and don't go through any server.

Exports and backups

You can export your data as a CSV file or a full backup. The file is created on your phone, and you choose where it goes, for example Files, iCloud Drive or a message. From then on it's handled by the place you saved or sent it to. Restoring a backup only reads the file you pick.

Deleting your data

You can delete single sessions in the app. Deleting TempoLift from your phone removes all of its data. We have no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Apple

Apple handles downloads, purchases and, if you have turned it on, sharing crash reports with developers. That is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

This website and our servers

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. Like any website, our hosting provider may briefly keep technical logs such as IP addresses to keep the site and the login server running and secure.

Children

TempoLift collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version handles data differently, for example with sync, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
